Intro to Programming

GRADE LEVEL: 6-12
INSTRUCTOR: MARK OBREMSKI

Students learn the fundamentals of computer programming through a series of easy-to-understand coding lessons.

Each class introduces new concepts, building upon what was learned in the previous week.

INTRO TO PROGRAMING 

Using the Arduino Uno micro-controller platform, attendees will learn to code through a series of hands-on lab exercises. Lessons will cover program structure & syntax, control structures, as well advanced input/output, and debugging. This unique class makes learning to code fun and rewarding.  

FALL SESSION:
INTERACTIVE ART CONTINUATION

Continue coding and using those skills to create interactive art pieces. We'll code movement, lights and sounds.

GRADES 6 & UP

PREREQUISITE: INTRO TO PROGRAMMING PART 1

WINTER SESSION:
Part I

Get started learning how to code in a really cool way. Arduino Uno micro-controllers let you flash lights, make sounds, and move motors. You’ll take the Arduino home when you’re done!
