Girls entering grades 2-4 will learn how to build a zoetrope, a pre-cinema animation device, while learning about illustration and animation, using iPad apps and the GoldieBlox Movie Machine.

Open to girls entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.

Summer STEAM Team

Students will have fun learning the basics of programming with Blue-Bots and acclaimed iPad apps like Kodable and ScratchJr. They will build confidence in sequencing, directionality, problem-solving, counting, and estimation. In the second hour we will focus on building critical thinking skills in the offline world, using classic childrens' games, puzzles and building materials.

Open to students entering 1st and 2nd grade.

Discover coding by controlling the Blue-bot robot. Design and create interactive games and stories using the ScratchJr iPad app. We'll also discover Osmo Coding, an award-winning, interactive iPad learning tool. Recommended for families with kids 8 and under.
