STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities captivate young students. Explore the latest apps like Kodable, ScratchJr, and Osmo Coding and Blue-Bot robots. Through exploration and fun, students are deeply engaged and that engagement leads to learning.
Have an interest? Get passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Explore robotics with EV3 and coding with Scratch. Our STEM programs take place during vacations and selected Saturdays.
For kids who already love Scratch and want to further explore that interest, this is the class. Using visual programming, the Scratch Club provides a community for creativity and inspiration, where students can get help and advice from instructors, and share their creations with friends.
Learn the fundamentals of 3D printing and design. Tinkercad makes it fun and easy to design your own 3D creations. Through the magic of 3D printing, designs are turned into a physical objects to take home at the end of the class.
Design and create exciting robots with the cutting-edge LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Program those creations using Scratch, an easy programming language designed for learning. This class is a next step for kids who enjoy building with their hands and their minds.
A first step at Code & Circuit, students learn problem solving and build their confidence with technology. Hands-on activities like programming robots and 3D printing provide an engaging introduction to Computer Science. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided. Intro to CS classes are divided by age/grade levels.
Coding lessons in easy-to-understand Python teaches students the fundamentals of computer programming. New concepts will be introduced weekly, building upon what was learned the previous week. Programming classes are taught at different levels. Check for prerequisites.
Join the world-wide maker movement! Bring creative projects to life with robotics and digital circuitry. Teaches hardware and software engineering. Students design, build and program exciting projects in a series of hands-on classes.
Ambitious learners can build knowledge fast with one-on-one lessons. The hour is spent working on a project of the student’s choice. Lessons are offered on a limited basis. Four (4) lesson commitment required.
You're invited to one of our family workshop events. Parents and kids work together on activities like building robotics projects, exploring a coding activity, or designing for the 3D printer. These workshops are a favorite of our regulars, and also a great way to get introduced to Code & Circuit.
