Here's what you need to know:

• Weeks are Monday - Thursday.

• Pack a lunch and water.

• Lunch will take place outside weather permitting.

• No experience is necessary and everything is provided.

Build STEAM

GRADES K - 2

Plugged & Unplugged

 

Kodable, BeeBot, and BlueBot coding apps; use iPads to program your BlueBots, and Root Robots; Code Bowling, Osmo apps, and more!  

 

Introduction to ScratchJr and movie making; Build a Catapult and a LEGO Zip Wire!

STEAM Sisters Design Week

GRADES 4 - 10

This week will engage individuals who identify as female in explorations with Virtual Reality, 3D Printing, Cricut Design, Coding, Robotics, and Digital Art. Participants will have opportunities to design and create using multiple innovative devices. Using Cricut Software design, participants will also make their own gear!

LEAP with LEGOs!

GRADES K - 2

LEGOs, Engineering, Art & Programming

 

This session is designed to unleash your child's creative energy! Students will explore their curiosities in sessions that guide them through challenges in LEGO builds, engineering, arts, and technology challenges. Learning through play and exploration, participants will engage in STEAM activities and kinesthetic activities while building social-emotional agility. This landscape will work to guide each child in discovering their genius!

GRADES 3 - 5

 

LEGOs, Engineering, Art & Programming

 

This session is designed to unleash your child's creative energy! Students will explore their passions in sessions that guide students through project-based learning and collaborative challenges in LEGO builds, engineering, arts, and programming. Learning through play and exploration, participants will use metacognitive skills: identifying one's own learning style, planning for a task, organizing materials, as well as monitoring and evaluating success. This landscape will work to guide each child in discovering their genius!

Week of July 18th, 9:00-2:00 (M-Th)

Full STEAM Ahead

GRADES 2 - 4

 

Get your code on with apps like Kodable and LightBot; remote-control Root robots with iPads; use code to create games with Scratch Jr., and make music with Coding Jam!

 

Stop Motion Studio is back! Bring your story ideas to life as a movie. Build your set and the characters to star in your movie using paper, clay, legos, and more! Have fun creating an animated mini-movie. Class will conclude with a screening of your movie!

Week of August 15th, 9:00-2:00 (M-Th)

BUILD YOUR SUMMER

GRADES 3 - 5

We’ll combine Scratch 3.0, LEGO EV3 Robotics, and 3D printing to teach the fundamentals of coding, robotics, and design.

Working in small groups, students will build an understanding of coding and use it to create a kinetic adventure.

CODE YOUR SUMMER

GRADES 6 - 8

Learn how to use JavaScript, circuitry, 3D printing, and more to build immersive and interactive projects.

Working in small groups, students will study coding and digital circuitry, and use these skills to create a dynamic creation they'll remember forever.

Week of July 25th, 9:00-2:00 (M-TH)

CAD & 3D Printing

GRADES 6 - 12

With expert instruction, teens will learn popular CAD tools, and become confident 3D printing experts in our new 3D printing lab.

Working in small groups, students create and print projects to be proud of.

Week of July 25th, 9:00-2:00 (M-TH)
