What is FIRST Tech Challenge?

​

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a global robotics competition where middle and high school students design, build, and program robots to compete in exciting, real-world challenges. Teams collaborate, problem-solve, and present their work ~ gaining engineering, coding, and leadership skills along the way.

Registration & Sponsorship Details

Registration Fee: $600 per student
This fee covers:

• Robot parts and tools

• Official FTC team registration

• Event fees

• Team T-shirt and materials

• Lab access and mentoring support

 

Structure for FTC at Code & Circuit 2025-2026

FTC at Code & Circuit has the potential to create both a JV and Varsity team this season. If numbers and staffing permit, our team will commence with Varsity sessions on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm and JV sessions on Thursdays from 5:30pm - 7:00pm.

 

The team commitment for FTC will increase for Varsity as the team transitions from the build to the competition phase over the winter months.

 

The season begins on September 10th.

 

Team members on both JV and Varsity must be willing to engage in fundraising efforts to support team supplies and equipment.

 

All students must complete this application.
